Location: Maintenance Department
Supervisor: Operations Manager

Summary:

Under the general direction of the Operation’s Manager, works as liaison for communication between the maintenance department and vendors, and coordinates ordering of materials or equipment for on and off-site facilities. Manages and coordinates maintenance projects around the hotel and off site facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Gather, input, retrieve and maintain maintenance information in both computer and manual systems.
• Conduct daily task and follow up meetings for maintenance.
• Delegate tasks as needed to maintenance personnel.
• Compile information such as identification of items, costs, vendors, freight charges, etc. for purchasing of all maintenance materials.
• Maintain all files and inventory records of all orders placed and received, including delivery time schedules.
• Reassure that MSDS sheets are documented and filed.
• Prepare all purchase requisitions, coordinate and expedite approvals as required, maintain all records and provide follow up with accounting, buyers, vendors, requestors, and receiving.
• Review documents for sufficiency and maintaining any necessary follow up.
• Generate and distribute Preventative Maintenance work orders.
• Contact Operations/Facility Manager’s when an emergency arises.
• Keep an open line of communication with all departments of the hotel.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of Associates Degree preferred, or up to 5 years of experience with facility maintenance.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in facility maintenance.
• Hotel maintenance experience a plus.

• Knowledge and ability to use different types of office equipment and computer software to meet the performance requirements of the job

• Microsoft office, excel, outlook, and computer skills.
